Alert Level 4 InformationTue Aug 17 10:30pm
Kia ora Parents and Whānau
As you will be aware, the Prime Minister announced a shift to Alert Level 4 Lockdown from midnight tonight for the next 7 days for Auckland and 3 days across the rest of New Zealand.
This means that St Mary’s Catholic School is closed for instruction from Wednesday 18th August to Friday 20th August inclusive. Information will be sent via HERO and our school app to support you and your whānau during this emergency response.
We will continue to update you via HERO, our Facebook page as well as the school app as new information becomes available.
Due to the swiftness of the move from Alert Level 1 to Alert Level 4, I would like our children to use Wednesday to enjoy some family time, playing board games, reading, and just hanging out together.
I will inform our Community on Wednesday of the plan for Thursday and Friday once I have consulted with the staff and Leadership team.
Please look after yourselves and your children at this time. The health and wellbeing of you and your whānau is our highest priority. Please pray for our community and our country. Stay safe and be kind. Kia kaha.
