St Mary's Cross Country results
On Tuesday 19th June our wonderful students were sent racing around the streets surrounding the school, in an attempt to challenge themselves over the cross country courses. Thank you to our teachers who have supported the daily exercise programme. With five weeks of training under their belts, most children looked like they certainly had made the most of the opportunity.
Again our fabulous parent community helped make this day a success. Many offered to wear the bright orange vests and assist with safety, while our mighty PTA kept everyone fed and watered.
The big event for the seniors was the traditional Cup Race to find the fastest runner from all of the senior students at our school. This year the Year 6 students took line honours in both the boys’ and girls’ races – well done Sean Curragh and Molly Cachemaille.
