Pastoral Care

The pastoral care of our International students includes assistance with enrolment, orientation into the school and to the local area. International students and their parents are able to meet with our International Students Tutor at any time to discuss problems and experiences around school.

The students are also involved in English language sessions with our tutor four times a week for 30 minute sessions. The school supports our international students with small group sessions instructed by our specialist ESOL teacher.

The International Students Tutor meets with parents once a term to share information relevant to their child’s learning development.  St Mary's hosts a termly afternoon tea, with parents and agents invited. We hope that with will provided a successful way for our international families to meet up with each other.
